This application serves as a valuable tool for familiarizing oneself with vessel lights in accordance with the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (ColReg).
The learning process in this app is structured into three sequential stages. The initial phase, named 'Study,' enables users to browse through different vessels and view their respective lights from both lateral and top perspectives. A standout feature is the ability to rotate the vessels by swiping, facilitating a comprehensive view from all angles. Moving on to the 'Practice' stage, users are presented with random vessels displayed from varying angles in profile view. Choosing the correct option out of the provided four is essential. Notably, users can employ different tactics to assist them, such as requesting the correct answer, rotating the vessel, or revisiting previous examples to aid in learning. The ultimate stage, labeled 'Examination,' eliminates any assistance mechanisms. Random vessels are displayed from diverse perspectives one after another, under a time constraint.
